OUR HISTORY

DeVulgare is an association for social promotion (APS), which was born from the idea of Niccolò and Guglielmo, two young Italian students in London. They suddenly find themselves discovering the need to intervene to safeguard the local Italian linguistic heritage. Determined to take matters into their own hands, they start DeVulgare, a modern and digital tool that can satisfy the three objectives of their project: to preserve, enhance and disseminate the regional linguistic heritage.

DeVulgare aims to be a 'bottom-up' and collaborative initiative, in which anyone who speaks a regional language can share their stories and traditions with us. Disseminating is also an invitation to promote the themes dear to the project, thus welcoming any possible advice or contribution that is aimed at achieving our goals.
